Sadly everyone this is my last post so, I will give you a little recap about the oRIGINS OF dEMOCRACY.
How did democracy develop in Greece? Democracy was created by an athenian man named cleisthenes in the time period of 507. Democracy lasted for about 80 years in Athens, AND ENDED IN 431 b.c. Remember, to vote you had to be male, own land, and could not be a slave. So how did democracy develop in the U.S? Democracy developed in the United States because it mostly started to spread around the world. It first became part of the mediterranean sea and later on became part of a few European cities. Then on as many years past by democracy formed in America!!! How did democracy end? Democracy ended because of the peloponnesian War. The Peloponnesian War started when athens and Sparta wanted to claim the land of corinth. After, Sparta won the war they took over Athens, ending Democracy. One thing I can really connect to out Modern world today is the impact democracy has given us. Democracy helps us pick presidents, and show how citizens can really make a difference in forming a country.
